Summer 2012
The JJAMS Group
This Voice Thread will take you to a welcome video about the group members I worked with during the face to face time at Michigan State University. We were called the JJAMS groups and the letters represented the first initial of our names, Jason, Jacy, Allison, Melissa, and Sarah.
Just Shoot Me
This "Just Shoot Me" activity was done during the face to face time to introduce yourself in a unique way. Something unique about myself is that I have Celiac Disease and have to follow a very strict Gluten Free Diet.
Behaviorism: Classical vs. Operant Conditioning
This presentation on "Classical vs. Operant Conditioning" was created using Prezi. When learning behaviorism, our group had to find or create a game that showed how Classical and Operant conditioning worked. When playing the games if the player does something correct there is a reward or points earned relating to Classical and Operant conditioning.
Physics Video Group Assignment
This Group "Physics Video" was created using a Flip camera and iMovie. There were two experiments involved in this video. The purpose of the first experiment was to see where a ball landed when dropped from different positions. The first position was at the person's feet. The second position was while the person was walking and the third position was while the person was running. The second experiment consisted of using two different balls to see which ball would hit the ground first while dropped at the same time.
De-motivational Poster
This "De-Motivational Poster" was created in Google Presentation and was a spoof to "motivate" students.
Tensions Activity - Work vs. Play
This "tension" activity that I created in Pixlr to contrast the idea of work vs. play.
iImages
These iImages represent the 3 key concepts that student mis-interpret when solving equations in 7th grade. These iImages helped create my DreamIT Proposal topic.

Web 2.0 Wiki
This Wiki was created to show different types of web 2.0 writing tools. With this jigsaw assignment, each group picked a category that they were interested in and then each group member focused on a web 2.0 tool in the specific category we chose.
Creativity Poem
Each group was assigned to be creative and come up with a "Creativity Poem." Here you will see the poem that the JJAMS group made.
Alphabits
With this "Alphabit" each group was assigned a letter to capture with their camera. The letter captured could not be a written letter but the groups had to visually see the letter in an object. After all the groups brought back their assigned letters they were assembled to form the word Beauty.
Understanding Understanding Group Project
This "Understanding Understanding" Group project is about a mis-conception that people generally have. Our topic was to investigate the mis-conception people have about the three branches of government and the system of checks and balances.
Exploring Key Ideas in Technology and Education: UDL Wiki
This Wiki is an overview of Universal Design for Learning (UDL). The links provided in this presentation show ways to implement UDL in your lessons.
DreamIT Proposal
This "DreamIT Proposal" was created in weebly. It integrates technology along with the content knowledge that students need to know about solving equations in 7th grade math along with my pedological teaching strategies. With this DreamIT proposal students will be creating a presentation in iMovie about solving multi-step equations integrating it in a real-life situation.
Final Reflection
The "Final Reflection" focuses on everything I have learned during the Year 2 Summer Cohort at Michigan State University and how I plan to continue learning as an educator when I finish my Master's in the MAET program.
